The City of Lakewood is a wonderful place to live and do business. Just ten minutes from the world famous Southern California beaches and just over an hour to our beautiful mountains.  This is truly a jewel of a place in which to manage your life.

Lakewood is a thriving business community, with great opportunity to continue its momentum.  There is a wonderful mixture of small business owners as well as large companies that belong to the Chamber, and do business in the area.  What makes the city of Lakewood so unique and enjoyable for residents is the city’s accessibility. People can easily walk to a retail shopping center; have lunch at their choice of any one of a large variety of eateries, all without leaving the city.

The Chamber represents the local business community, taking timely action on issues of critical importance for the benefits of its members.  There are networking events happening all the time, such as monthly mixers, breakfasts, ribbon cuttings, and direct mail opportunities that go out to all new residents as they move into the city.  We have a Government Affairs Council (GAC) that meets monthly to review our city, county, state and federal legislative issues. Members of the Chamber play an important role in shaping Lakewood’s future. Members are encouraged to get involved to make lasting business contacts and relationships.

As industry changes and brings new challenges, the Chamber stays focused on doing what its members need.  We are committed to helping this community and our membership move forward, helping businesses prosper and capitalize on opportunities that become available.  Together, the membership is the voice of the business community, progressing toward Lakewood’s future with prosperity, innovation and economic vitality.  I invite you to be part of something special; whether you have a home-based business, are in need of legislative communication, or just want to become involved in the community.  We will help you get where you want to go, we are the Greater Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.

Sincerely,

Sean Piazza
