Tax Deduction

The Greater Lakewood Chamber of Commerce is exempt from federal income tax as an IRS code 501c (6) organization. Dues are ordinarily deductible by members, except for the percentage related to state and federal lobbying activities and expenditures. The total nondeductible percentage of your membership dues is 10%. Contributions or gifts to the Lakewood Chamber are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
